Seachem Clarity – 100ml is the ultimate clarifier for both fresh and saltwater
Clarity™ is your go-to clarifier for both fresh and saltwater environments. It utilizes an advanced polymeric flocculating agent that is safe for both reefs and plants. What sets Clarity™ apart is that it is the only clarifier available that does it all! Clarity™ effectively clears various types of cloudiness, including chemical and particulate clouding (such as that caused by stirred-up gravel beds). It is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquariums, and it is safe for plants and reefs.
Why It Is Different
Many companies offer multiple products to tackle each type of cloudiness in different environments (for example, freshwater, marine, reef, etc.). While some companies have created products that address most types of cloudiness, they often require the use of two separate bottles. Clarity™ stands out because it contains compounds that can clear all types of cloudiness in any environment. With both precipitating and flocculating agents combined in a single bottle, you can remove any cloudiness with just one dose.
How It Works
When you add Clarity™ to your water, you may notice a cloudy haze starting to form. This is completely normal and indicates that Clarity™ is beginning to take effect. The water contains tiny pieces of floating matter that are not visible to the naked eye. Clarity™ helps these particles clump together, forming larger pieces that become visible, leading to the temporary cloudiness. Once these particles have clumped together, removing the residue becomes a simple matter of mechanical filtration. Particles that were previously too small to be caught in filter media are now large enough to be effectively filtered out.
Directions
Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 80 L (20 gallons). In some cases, you may notice the cloudiness increase slightly after adding Clarity™; this is normal and shows that Clarity™ is actively working. Rapid clarification will follow. If you experience chemical or particulate clouding, be sure to clean your filter floss or cartridge after the tank has cleared. (Note: For the 2 & 4 L containers, the cap is 10 mL.)
