Tropic Marin® CARBOCALCIUM is an ultra-concentrated solution designed for advanced reef aquarists. With this product, you can meet the total calcium and carbonate hardness needs of a typical reef aquarium using just one solution. This means you do not have to worry about adding any unwanted compounds or producing excess carbon dioxide.

In an aquarium, minerals are consumed through the growth of organisms and various processes. Therefore, it is essential to supplement them regularly. The primary elements needed for the growth of calcareous skeletons in stony corals, red coralline algae, and other reef organisms are calcium and carbonate hardness. The specially coordinated components in CARBOCALCIUM create excellent care conditions using just one solution.

Tropic Marin® CARBOCALCIUM prevents all the side effects associated with other calcium hardness methods:

• There is no risk of introducing unwanted phosphates through coral breakage.

How to use:

Begin with a daily dose of 5 ml of Tropic Marin® Carbo-Calcium for every 100 litres (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. You can increase the dose weekly by 2.5 ml per 100 litres (26 US-gal) based on continuous control of the alkalinity, until you reach a stable carbonate hardness of 7 to 9 °dH. At the same time, monitor the calcium concentration in your aquarium, which should be between 400-440 mg/l.

Please do not exceed a maximum daily dose of 25 ml of Tropic Marin® Carbo-Calcium per 100 litres (26 US-gal) of aquarium system volume. Each 1000 ml of Tropic Marin® Carbo-Calcium contains 40,000 mg of calcium and 5,600 °carbonate hardness.
