Magnesium Concentrate 500ml
Magnesium supplement replenishes magnesium levels to help ensure proper coral growth.
Magnesium Concentrate
Julian Sprung’s Reef Formula Magnesium Concentrate from Two Little Fishies is designed for healthy corals. This product replenishes the magnesium concentration, which is crucial for maintaining stable pH levels and ensuring proper calcium deposition in corals. Magnesium Concentrate helps to maintain excellent water quality for corals, coralline algae, macroalgae, sea grasses, and mangroves. Simply add one capful per 37.85 liters to increase the magnesium concentration by 5 mg/L. It is advisable to use a Magnesium test kit to check the magnesium level in your aquarium water.
Dosage: Utilize a Magnesium test kit to gauge the magnesium concentration in your aquarium water. Add one capful (5 ml = 1 teaspoon) for every 38 liters or 10 gallons to raise the magnesium concentration by 5 mg/L. Use as needed to keep the magnesium level around 1,350 mg/L at a specific gravity of 1.025. If the specific gravity is lower, please note that the magnesium concentration will correspondingly be lower.
Ingredients: Reverse osmosis purified water, magnesium chloride, and magnesium sulfate.
This product contains no ammonia, phosphate, or silicate.
General Information:
Two Little Fishies Magnesium Concentrate is a solution that provides essential magnesium, a key element in stabilizing pH within the seawater buffering system. Magnesium is vital for the function of various cellular enzymes and is a significant component of chlorophyll, which is essential for photosynthesis in plants. This product replenishes magnesium levels using a seawater ratio of magnesium chloride and magnesium sulfate, ensuring optimal water quality for corals, coralline algae, macroalgae, sea grasses, and mangroves.
Please do not overdose. Excessive magnesium levels or large single doses may lead to a decrease in carbonate alkalinity. Avoid raising the magnesium concentration by more than 25 mg/L in a single day.
Caution: Add the supplement to a strong current stream for rapid distribution in the water. Wait at least 30 minutes before introducing any buffers to the aquarium. It is important not to mix with other supplements in a dosing reservoir. Store at room temperature, and note that the shelf life is five years.
