- Add 0.5 ml (syringe included with the 20 ml package) of Coral Protec per 1 liter of salt water from your aquarium in a separate container.
- Mix well. For optimal freshness, a freshwater dip can be used. Please ensure that the pH values are buffered to match your aquarium water when performing a freshwater dip.
- Utilize a small powerhead to keep the water moving and place the coral in the container. If a powerhead is not available, gently shake the coral in the dip.
- Keep the coral in the dip for 2 to 5 minutes, depending on the severity of the issue. Monitor the coral during treatment for any signs of adverse effects, such as excessive weight loss.
- After 2 to 5 minutes, remove the coral and discard the dip. Rinse the coral with clean aquarium water before placing it back into the aquarium.
- Do not reuse the coral dip, as expelled organisms can release toxins during the dipping process.
- Be sure to clean the syringe and/or container with fresh water after use.
