Aqua Medic REEF LIFE antired reliably eliminates red slime algae in seawater aquaria
Aquamedic Antired is a reliable solution for eliminating red slime algae in your seawater aquarium. It is safe for invertebrates and does not harm nitrification bacteria, while also promoting the growth of beneficial higher algae. Please remember to turn off the protein skimmer and carbon filter during the treatment. You should use a mechanical filter to help remove any dying algae.
Application and Dosage for Aqua Medic REEF LIFE Antired
Before starting the treatment, it is important to remove as much red algae as possible mechanically, as the algae can release toxic substances upon dying. During the treatment, keep an eye on your aquarium. If you notice any signs of distress in the fish, you should transfer them to another aquarium immediately.
Once you have completed the initial treatment, you can switch the protein skimmer back on to enhance skimming. Please avoid using any ozone or UV filters during this process. Additionally, remember to remove the carbon filters and use a power filter to quickly eliminate dead algae. Dispose of the mechanical filter media after use.
Dosage: Use 10 ml of Antired for every 40 litres of aquarium water. Mix the dose into 2 litres of aquarium water and add half of it slowly to your aquarium. Wait for 4 to 6 hours before adding the remaining portion. If necessary, you can repeat this process after 3 days.
Ingredients: Each 100 ml contains: silver 55 mg, polyvinyl pyrrolidone 300 mg (Ag, PVP).
