COR 20 Pump return pump of Neptune Systems
The COR 20 Pump is a versatile option that can operate independently without requiring an APEX system. It connects effortlessly to any APEX with an available 1LINK port and can handle up to 2000 GPH (7500 LPH) for both internal or external applications.
- Energy Efficient – It uses less than 90W of power!
- Incredibly Quiet – The absence of a power brick results in a cleaner installation.
GREAT FLOW TO POWER RATIO
The COR-20 delivers impressive flow while being very economical with power, which is beneficial for both your budget and the environment. For optimal performance, be sure to use the largest diameter pipe possible; we recommend at least 32mm (1.25″).
ADVANCED CONTROLABILITY
The COR was designed with Apex controllability in mind. You can adjust your pump output percentage, receive real-time feedback, integrate it into advanced feed routines, and monitor the pump status from anywhere in the world using Apex Fusion.
EASY INSTALLATION
Connecting the plumbing is a breeze. Simply plug the COR into its driver and into a 1LINK port. A few quick button presses will allow you to set the pump flow rate and feed modes. The setup process guides you step by step through the entire installation.
WHISPER-DRIVE TECHNOLOGY
The COR utilizes cutting-edge Vector Control and BLDC motor technology, ensuring energy efficiency along with minimal vibration and noise. We challenge you to find a quieter pump!
OBSTRUCTION DETECTION
Snails, filter pads, or other items can sometimes obstruct a pump. If the intake of your COR or any plumbing becomes significantly blocked, the COR will notify you with a flashing LED on the driver. When connected to an Apex and the internet, it will also send an alert to your mobile device.
INTERNAL TEMPERATURE MONITORING
The pump driver continuously monitors the internal temperature of the COR pump motor. If it detects an unsafe level, the driver will slow the pump down just enough to bring the temperature back to a safe range, while providing you with a notification. Unlike some pumps that shut off completely during temperature issues, the COR continues to circulate, giving you time to address any problems.
IQ-LEVEL
You can set the desired output level for your aquarium, and the COR will remember it as your “100%.” If there is a power outage, the pump will restart at this memorized setting. Additionally, during feed modes, your water will not completely back-siphon, preventing the burping and bubbling that usually occurs when a pump powers back on.
FEED MODE
With a few simple adjustments in Apex Fusion, you can establish a Feed Mode that slows the pump to your preferred level. Other tank operations can be synchronized with this feed mode, and you can customize the duration of the Feed Mode. The buttons on the COR driver also serve as an easy-to-use feed button.
INCLUDED FITTINGS
The COR comes with all the fittings needed for most aquarium setups (0.75″ output, 1.0″ input). Additionally, it includes a 1.25” union for the output, allowing you to connect the pump in a way that minimizes head loss. For optimal performance, we suggest plumbing your main return line in 1.25″ to unlock the full potential of the COR pump, which can yield up to 50% or more flow!
