Aqua Medic Antiphos Fe 800ml/500gr serves as a phosphate and silicate remover suitable for both freshwater and seawater aquariums. This product is designed specifically for the selective removal of phosphates from aquarium water, which helps to prevent unwanted algae growth.

Antiphos is a highly active, iron-based solution that contains no aluminum, ensuring it is completely safe for your aquarium plants and animals. The phosphate binds irreversibly to the Antiphos Fe and is removed from the aquarium when you refresh the product.

This product is especially effective in managing phosphate levels in reef aquariums, capable of reducing phosphate concentrations to very low levels for extended periods. The coarse size of the Antiphos particles allows water to flow easily past them, eliminating the need for a fluidized filter bed.

The binding capacity of Antiphos is approximately 10 g of phosphate per kg. Under normal conditions, 500 ml of Antiphos Fe is sufficient to treat a typically populated aquarium of 300 liters for about 3 to 6 months.
