Coral Essentials Coral Power Amino 50ml is a concentrated blend of essential amino acids specifically designed for marine aquariums. These amino acids play a crucial role in enzyme production, tissue growth, and skeleton formation. Corals depend on amino acids to build proteins necessary for tissue development and to create the organic matrix that regulates and accelerates calcium carbonate deposition, a process known as calcification (Allemand et al. 2004).

This organic matrix consists of proteins and other compounds that are vital for bio-mineralization. To promote the growth of SPS corals, it is important to adhere to a dosing plan outlined below. Adjustments to the recommended dosing can be made based on your aquarium conditions and the density of coral present. Higher levels of amino acids can be effectively utilized by corals, but it is advisable to avoid high dosing if your aquarium has elevated phosphate and nitrate levels, as this may lead to algae outbreaks.

Please note: Coral Essentials Coral Power Amino should be stored in a cool, dark place and it is preferable to refrigerate it after opening.

Dosage rate: We suggest starting with 1 drop per day for every 100 liters of tank water. If you observe positive results, you may gradually increase the dosage to 2 drops per day over the course of about a month, depending on the coral density in your tank. It is crucial to maintain very low nutrient levels. We do not recommend exceeding 3 drops per day in a heavily stocked system for every 100 liters of water.
