Aquaforest Lab Micro Elements Supplement is designed with highly concentrated strontium and barium. Strontium, following calcium and magnesium, is among the most crucial elements for the growth of hard corals. It plays a vital role in forming the skeletal tissue of hard corals and significantly enhances calcium absorption. Additionally, strontium supports the growth of soft corals.

In a closed aquarium system, the skimmer and filtration media tend to remove strontium deposits from the water, making supplementation necessary. To maintain aquarium conditions that closely resemble natural environments, this preparation has been enriched with barium, which is also significant in seawater.

Thanks to its balanced proportions, Strontium effectively addresses the deficiencies of both strontium and barium in aquarium water, ensuring the ideal ratio of these essential elements.

Dosage: 10 ml of the product increases the strontium level by 1 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gallons) of water. The recommended strontium level in aquarium water is between 6.00 – 10.00 mg/l (ppm). Dosage should be adjusted based on the consumption of microelements. Keep in mind that each aquarium is unique, and the final dosage will depend on the coral species and individual aquarium requirements. Both deficiencies and excesses of micronutrients can impact aquarium inhabitants, so it is important to select and modify the dosage based on regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.
