The Reef Octopus VarioS DC pumps provide enhanced performance and precise control of flow in your aquarium’s reactors, sump, or closed-loop system. With full control through the VarioS Controller, you can easily manage the pump’s flow, enter feed modes (15 or 60 minutes), add a safety float switch (included), or connect it to a third-party controller like an Apex.

Control

The VarioS DC pump is now equipped with the new VarioS controller, offering even more control. With five energy-saving speeds and two feed modes, the controller allows you to monitor your pump’s performance at a glance.

Third Party Control

A dedicated port on the VarioS controller allows you to connect your VarioS pump directly to any third-party controller via a 0-10V reference port. This capability lets you create custom flow profiles, which are especially useful for closed-loop systems to generate random flow throughout your aquarium.

Safety

One of the advantages of this pump is the ability to directly attach a float switch. The float can help you set high or low points in your sump, skimmer cup, or display tank, automatically shutting off the pump when activated. The VarioS controller features a waterproof 3-conductor union that connects to the pump, ensuring a safe and detachable connection.
