Fauna Marin AEFW X 500ml works specifically against Acropora flatworms (“AEFW” and “NAEFW”)

IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST AEFW FLATWORMS

AEFW X is designed specifically to combat Acropora flatworms, known as “AEFW” and “NAEFW”. Its unique formulation effectively blocks the larval development, preventing the metamorphosis that leads to the formation of reproductive adults. Additionally, the adult flatworms cease reproduction and further growth.

AEFW X IS EFFECTIVE AGAINST:

• Prosthiostomum acroporae (Acropora eating flatworm)
• New AEFW flatworm (“NAEFW”)

APPLICATION:

AEFW X can be safely used in reef tanks without harming other tank inhabitants. We suggest a treatment duration of at least 4 to 6 weeks to ensure the elimination of all existing flatworms. If needed, this treatment can be extended indefinitely. Please review the HTU AEFW X instructions prior to application and follow the guidelines and tips provided!

Typically, infested tanks become free of flatworms within 4 to 6 weeks. You will notice that the acroporids show significant improvement, with enhanced mucus secretion and a stronger immune system. This greatly reduces their susceptibility to new infections.

DOSAGE:

For acute infections: 4 ml per 100 litres (26 US gallons) daily for 4 to 6 weeks. For prevention: 2 ml per 100 litres (26 US gallons) daily.

Always administer the dosage directly into the aquarium once a day. You may operate the UV system, activated carbon, ozone, and adsorbers during treatment.
