• Nyos PURE features sodium chloride that is cleaned through a multi-step process, making it purer than salts obtained through seawater evaporation.
• Some ingredients are also utilized in medical technology, such as dialysis.

For immediate use: Salt water enriched with Nyos PURE can be ready in just a few minutes. The common notion of “salt water maturation” typically means that contaminants need to be precipitated into insoluble compounds. With Nyos® PURE®, this step is unnecessary due to its purity.

Special mixing process: A unique mixing process used in both the food and pharmaceutical sectors ensures consistent batch quality and a highly homogeneous mixture with Nyos® PURE®.

Attuned particle size: The carefully adjusted particle size prevents separation in the bucket, ensuring that salt levels at the top and bottom are virtually identical as you use it.

Natural seawater as a model: With the Nyos® PURE® salt mix, we aim to closely replicate the composition of natural seawater, which we believe is the best way to ensure a thriving salt water aquarium. Nyos® PURE® has the following target main levels for a salinity of 35%:

No need for excessively elevated levels: Nyos PURE does not contain any excessively high levels of calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness. Even after larger water changes, the main levels in the aquarium remain stable.

Long-term stable: With salt mixes that have excessively high levels, calcium, carbonate hardness, and magnesium can precipitate as insoluble compounds when freshly prepared salt water is stored, leading to unwanted precipitates. Since Nyos® PURE® maintains normal range values, this does not occur, allowing for longer storage of the salt water.

One salt for everything: Nyos® PURE® is designed for both small and large water changes, making it suitable for new installations as well as regular maintenance.

No promotion of algae growth and cyanobacteria: Organic additives in salt can lead to unwanted algae growth and cyanobacteria when changing large amounts of water or during new installations. Therefore, Nyos® PURE® does not contain any organic additives.
