The X2SR uses the Kamoer Remote app for simple and flexible control. In the app, you can fully customize the pump to fit your desired water change schedule, rate, and volume. You can use the quick add function or individually add programs to suit your aquarium’s needs. The app also allows you to calibrate the pump heads, monitor the status of the water change reservoirs, and alerts you if any issues arise. When connected to the internet through a router, any firmware updates for the unit can be downloaded, and the settings can be accessed from anywhere with an internet connection on your smart device.

Water Change Options

Choose from two water change modes:

• Synchronized: Both pump heads will operate together, ensuring the same amount of clean water is added as aquarium water is removed, keeping the water level stable. This mode is ideal for lengthy water changes or situations where a drop in water level could cause issues.
• In and Out: This mode will function as a standard water change, where a set amount of water is first removed from the aquarium, followed by the addition of clean water to refill to the original level.

Schedule Options

In the app, you can program water changes to occur on specific days of the week or every set number of days. For instance, you can schedule water changes every Monday and Thursday or every fourteen days. For each 24-hour period where a water change is planned, you can set up to 24 individual programs, allowing you to distribute smaller water changes throughout the day if desired. Manual water changes can also be initiated in the app or by pressing the buttons on top of the unit to operate the individual heads.
