Easy Reefs Freshtick Omnivorous 42 is a natural and balanced nutrition for omnivorous freshwater fish and invertebrates
Freshtick offers an essential source of proteins, lipids rich in fatty acids (EPA, ARA, and DHA), vitamins, and carbohydrates, all derived from natural aquatic sources. This product is a self-adhesive paste in a powder formula that is ready to be rehydrated with water. Once rehydrated, it can be easily attached to any surface in your aquarium to meet the needs of your aquatic animals.
The rehydratable powder formula allows Freshtick to be blended with any mollusc or crustacean pulp, as well as eggs from fish, molluscs, and crustaceans, artemia, mysids, copepods, rotifers, and oral medications. Once prepared and placed in the aquarium, Freshtick does not disperse into the water for hours, ensuring that fish and crustaceans can fully benefit from it. This feature allows for “ad libitum” feeding or controlled portions.
Since Freshtick primarily consists of freeze-dried crustaceans, it does not include fish skeletons, resulting in very low phosphate levels relative to its protein content. Freshtick is crafted from the freshest, highest quality ingredients. The blend mainly features shrimp (Palaemonetes varians) sourced from our Veta La Palma Natural Space, which are promptly freeze-dried to preserve their nutritional value. We also incorporate freeze-dried microalgae and macroalgae into the mix to meet the dietary needs of a diverse range of freshwater fish.
Instructions:
- Add Freshtick to osmosis water in a 2:1 ratio.
- For example: Mix 42g of Freshtick with 20-21ml of RO water.
- Knead the mixture in a small ziplock bag until it becomes homogeneous.
- Once the mixture is consistent, Freshtick may be used immediately or frozen for later use.
- If freezing Freshtick, it should be consumed within five weeks after preparation.
Instructions for use:
Take a portion of Freshtick and attach it to a rock, a branched coral skeleton, or the aquarium glass (ideally in the lower third), depending on the feeding habits of the animals in your aquarium.
