DD KH Manager is a specialised, app controlled, stand-alone device, which automatically samples and tests the KH level

The KH Manager is a unique device that you can control via an app. This stand-alone unit samples and tests your aquarium water, calculating and dosing the precise amount of KH solution needed to maintain a stable alkalinity level.

This device features expandable multi-element dosing capabilities, thanks to built-in software that allows integration with specific D-D dosing pumps. This means other elements like Calcium and Magnesium can be automatically calculated and dosed according to your KH usage.

Developed through a partnership between D-D and Kamoer for the European market, the KH Manager combines Kamoer’s expertise in manufacturing high-precision medical-grade dosing equipment with D-D’s deep understanding of modern reef aquarium requirements.

With stepper motor-driven pump heads, a precision pH probe, twin optical sensors, and automatic stirring and flushing protocols, this device ensures that each test sample is collected, analyzed, and dosed accurately. If there are unexpected high or low readings, the system automatically retests to avoid sample errors, and user-defined limits will alert you in case of over or under dosing.

Automatic and Manual Testing

The app allows you to perform immediate tests manually with the KH Manager or set up a regular automated testing schedule. You can program automatic schedules to test your water between 1 and 24 times a day, whether it be every day, on certain days, or for a specified number of days, offering you complete flexibility.

After each test, the results are displayed on the unit for your quick reference, along with the time and date of the test. If you have set an automatic schedule, you will also see the time and date for the next test. The app includes a detailed data log for both pH and KH, as well as any automatic additions of KH buffer solution if dosing is activated.

Automated dosing of KH Buffer

You can activate automated KH maintenance to keep a consistent level. Once a test is completed, a built-in dosing channel will add a liquid buffer to raise the KH in your aquarium to the user-defined set point. You can limit the amount of buffer added in one dose to prevent large single additions. If the required volume exceeds the allowed amount for a single addition, an automatic dosing schedule will break the dose into smaller increments over time, which will be displayed in the app. The app settings allow for the use of standard Kamoer KH buffer or any other brand of KH buffer solution.

WiFi Cloud or Bluetooth App Control

The KH Manager is fully controlled by an app on your smartphone or tablet. You can download the free app, available for both iOS and Android. Using the Kamoer Remote app, you can choose between connecting the pump through your home router, allowing you to access the unit from anywhere in the world, or using a local Bluetooth connection to connect directly from your mobile device. Both options provide you with full access to all settings.

The app enables calibration, firmware updates (when connected via a home router), testing schedules, data monitoring, and the ability to set testing and dosing modes.
