Blade Coral Growth

The Blade Grow packs a powerful punch in a sleek design. With a unique LED mix, it optimizes the spectral peaks essential for coral photosynthesis. You can use it on its own or combine it with the Blade Glow to create a color setup that suits your aquarium needs.

Spectrum

This light provides a balanced mix of blue and white diodes that effectively cater to the photosynthetic requirements of coral. The Blade Grow emits light primarily in the deep blue to blue range of the spectrum (400-500 nm), which is known to be highly beneficial for marine life.

LEDs

The AI Blade features a cluster group configuration. Each Blade size contains approximately one cluster group per foot. The tight grouping and balanced placement of the diodes contribute to the remarkable balance and shimmer that the Blade platform provides. The Blade Coral Grow consists of 24 diodes per cluster group:

• 12 – Royal Blue
• 6 – Cool White
• 6 – Blue

EdgeField™ Optics

Optics are crucial in an advanced lighting system. The Edgefield™ technology used in the Blade ensures even PAR, smooth color mixing, and exceptional spread. With a remarkable 95-degree spread, Edgefield optics, designed specifically for the Blade, deliver a beautiful and natural shimmer in your aquarium.

Tank Rest Included

For Blades measuring up to 39.1 inches, a Low Profile Tank Rest is included. This tank rest extends up to 4.5 inches on either side of the blade, providing a total of 9 inches of support.

Mounting Clips Included

For Blades longer than 39.1 inches, Blade Mounting Clips are provided. These clips are compatible with the AI HMS Single-Arm and HMS Hanging Kit rails. If you need a different application, no problem! The Blade offers various mounting options, or you can use the clips with your custom mount.

Water Resistant

The Blade is not only adaptable but also built to endure the challenging environment of marine aquariums. It meets IP66 standards, ensuring the highest protection against particles and significant defense against water.

Silent Running

Featuring a highly efficient heat sink design, the Blade operates silently. With passive cooling, there are no fans or air movement, making it perfect for illuminating aquariums in living spaces where noise is a concern.

Blade Hanging (coming soon)

The Blade Hanging Kit from AI offers an elegant way to suspend your light above your tank. Made from high-quality brushed aluminum and available in an attractive black finish, it comes in 3, 4, and 6-light configurations to suit all sizes of Blade fixtures.

Kit includes: 2 bars, the appropriate number of Blade mounting clips, and V-wires. For use with the HMS hanging kit (sold separately).

Elevated Tank Mount

The Elevated Tank Mount provides a stylish and sturdy solution for mounting your AI Blade™. It works with both rimmed and rimless tanks, enhancing light spread and making it easier to access your aquarium.

Hybrid Mount (coming soon)

The Hybrid Mount allows for Blade installation using either the AquaIllumination Hydra or EcoTech Radion pendant fixtures. Each kit contains two mounting bars and clips for use with the HMS, RMS, or equivalent multi-light hanging kits. It is compatible with one or multiple Hydra or Radion fixtures (not suitable for use with HMS or RMS multi-light tank-mounted rails).

M8 Mounting Thread

If you desire even more mounting options, the Blade includes an M8 mounting thread at each end. The possibilities for custom mounts are endless.

Simple Built-in Control

All AI devices come equipped with smart control as a standard feature. You can easily set up or program your AI equipment using the myAI® app on any iOS or Android device.
