AF Phyto Mix – 250 ml
Aquaforest AF Phyto Mix – 250 ml dedicated mainly for soft corals, gorgonias and non-phosynthetic corals
Aquaforest AF Phyto Mix is a specially formulated liquid food designed primarily for soft corals, gorgonias, and non-photosynthetic corals. This unique formula strikes an ideal balance between phytoplankton and zooplankton, providing corals with essential nutrients such as proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
To meet the complete dietary needs of corals, AF Phyto Mix includes high-quality additives derived from animals. The formula is enhanced with shellfish that are rich in highly absorbable protein. Thanks to this excellent nutrient balance, AF Phyto Mix is not only favored by corals but is also readily consumed by small fish, such as anthias. Additionally, LPS corals can absorb it directly from the water.
Regular use of AF Phyto Mix ensures that corals experience healthy, vigorous growth and vibrant coloring.
Dosage: Use 10 drops per 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water every other day, assuming an average coral stocking. Please do not dilute or mix it with other products in a single container. After opening, make sure to store it in the refrigerator.
While all coral supplements come with a recommended dosage, it is important to note that every aquarium is unique. Therefore, the dosage may need to be adjusted based on your specific coral community. We suggest starting with half of the recommended dose (or even ¼) and closely monitoring the corals’ reactions to the food provided. If you observe no signs of overdose, feel free to gradually increase the dosage to the target level.
To enhance food absorption, it is best to feed SPS and LPS corals after the lights are turned off. On the other hand, corals like Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals should be fed during daylight hours. For optimal nutrient absorption, always dispense all supplements and foods directly into the aquarium.
During feeding, we recommend turning off the skimmer for about an hour. Once opened, store the product in the fridge and avoid overtightening the screw cap to prevent damage to the cover.
