Aquaforest AF Zoa Food Powdered food dedicated mostly for Zoanthus, Ricordea, Rhodactis and other mushroom corals
Welcome to the world of Aquaforest AF Zoa Food! This specially crafted powdered food is designed mainly for Zoanthus, Ricordea, Rhodactis, and other mushroom corals. It features a carefully selected blend of plant ingredients that caters to the unique needs of these beautiful corals.
The AF Zoa Food is enriched with a unique combination of vitamins that align perfectly with the requirements of your corals. By incorporating this vitamin blend, AF Zoa Food not only supports robust and vibrant growth but also enhances coloration and accelerates development.
Dosage:
- Use one measure spoon per 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water.
- During feeding, we suggest turning off the skimmer for about an hour.
To prepare the food, fill a small container with approximately 20 ml of aquarium water, add a spoon of AF Zoa Food, and mix it for one minute. You can then pour the suspension directly into the tank or utilize a pipette to feed specific corals. It is advisable to use this food at least once a week. In well-planted, mature aquariums, you may use it more frequently, even daily.
While all powdered foods generally follow a dosage of one measure spoon per 100 liters of water, keep in mind that every aquarium is unique, and the dosage may vary based on the coral community. We recommend starting with half of the dose (or even one-quarter) and closely observing the corals’ reactions to the food provided. Once you see no signs of overdose, feel free to increase the dosage to your target level.
Corals such as Zoanthus, Ricordea, and other mushroom corals should ideally be fed during the day. To help SPS and LPS corals absorb the food better, it is best to feed them after the lights go out. For optimal nutrient absorption, make sure to dispense all supplements and foods for corals directly into the aquarium.
