Instructions:

For optimal results, use 70ml per 100L of water in a fluidized bed filter. After you fill your filter with SuperCarbon, make sure to rinse it with osmosis water until the water in the filter runs clear. Only after this step should you connect the filter to your aquarium system.

Remark:

If you are using fluidized bed filters or bypass filters without a top sponge and/or with an open end, it is important to soak AMS SuperCarbon in osmosis water first. This will help release all the air trapped in the porous granules.

When you notice a discoloration in your aquarium water again, it is a sign that the SuperCarbon has reached its saturation point and needs to be replaced. As a general rule, you should plan to replace it no later than every two weeks of use.
