A UV-C lamp effectively eliminates single-celled algae, ensuring crystal clear water in both saltwater and freshwater aquariums. Additionally, it inactivates bacteria and other aquatic parasites, which helps reduce the risk of infection for your fish.
The Aqua Medic Helix Max 2.0 11W features a controlled flow of water and a large volume, providing maximum effectiveness. Water flows in a spiral around the quartz tube, making the UV radiation more efficient compared to standard units. The hose connections rotate 360 degrees, allowing for flexibility in installation and saving space.
Cleaning the inner spiral is straightforward due to the unit’s simple disassembly. It is designed to be user-friendly and safe, with an integrated window for monitoring. All models of the Helix Max 2.0 come equipped with a high-frequency ballast, which enhances the lifespan and efficiency of the UV lamp. Connections for hose attachment are also included.
