The UV-C lamp is designed to eliminate single-celled algae, ensuring your salt and freshwater aquariums remain crystal clear. Additionally, it effectively inactivates bacteria and other aquatic parasites, which helps to minimize the risk of infection for your fish.
The Aqua Medic Helix Max 2.0 features a controlled water flow and a large volume, maximizing its efficiency. Water spirals around the quartz tube, allowing for more effective use of UV radiation compared to standard units. The hose connections can rotate 360 degrees, making it easy to attach at any angle and saving space during installation.
Cleaning is a breeze, thanks to the simple disassembly of the unit. You can operate it safely and easily, thanks to the integrated window. All versions of the Aqua Medic Helix Max 2.0 come equipped with a high-frequency ballast, which extends the life and efficiency of the UV lamp. It also includes connections for hose attachment.
