Aqua Medic RO resin to remove the last remaining contaminants from RO water by using the ion exchange resin as the final stage in a reverse osmosis unit
The special ion exchange resin is designed to help reduce diatom growth. It effectively removes the last remaining contaminants from reverse osmosis (RO) water, serving as the final stage in an RO unit. This resin is particularly useful when silicate levels in tap water are elevated, as it minimizes diatom growth.
Applications
This resin acts as a mixed demineraliser, effectively removing silicate, nitrate, and other ions from RO water. You can find it placed in cartridges, such as those in Aqua Medic demineralisation filters or Aqua Medic Platinum Line Plus, positioned after the reverse osmosis units. Depending on the residual salt content and the flow rate, the RO water is purified of ions.
- Disposable resin: When the conductivity of the demineralised RO water starts to rise, it is important to replace the resin.
- Not rechargeable.
Ingredients
