The Aqua Medic RO-resin cartridge is a color-changing deionization cartridge designed specifically for 10″ canisters, including the Platinum Line Plus reverse osmosis system and others. This cartridge is essential for removing the last traces of pollutants from reverse osmosis water, such as silicate, nitrate, and other ions, using ion exchange resin as the final filtration stage.

By utilizing this cartridge, you can effectively reduce diatom growth, especially when silicate levels in tap water are elevated.

• Color Indicator: The resin changes color to provide a visual indication of filter performance. When the conductivity of the purified osmosis water starts to increase, the resin transitions from blue to green, signaling that it requires replacement.
