Aquaforest Calcium 3500g for Maintaining Stable Calcium Levels and pH Balance in Reef Aquariums

This product is specifically formulated to help maintain consistent calcium levels and optimize pH balance in reef aquariums. Stable calcium levels are crucial for the healthy growth of corals and coralline algae in marine environments. The recommended calcium range for reef aquariums is 380 to 460 mg/l (ppm).

Dosage: Dissolve 50 g of calcium in 1000 ml of RODI water. The required dosage depends on the results of water tests and the daily consumption of calcium by corals. It is strongly recommended to conduct a water test before adding the calcium solution to determine the current parameters.

100 ml of calcium solution will increase calcium levels in 100 liters of water by 17.5 mg/l (ppm). For a one-time calcium level adjustment, 10 g of calcium added to 100 liters of water will increase the calcium level by approximately 35 mg/l (ppm).

Important Recommendation: Do not increase the calcium level by more than 20 ppm per day. To maintain ionic balance in the aquarium, we suggest also using KH Buffer and Reef Mineral Salt. Calcium and magnesium can be combined into a single solution if needed.
