Aquaforest Component 1+, 2+, 3+ 3x5L 15000ml is based on the H.Balling method

The chemical composition of Aquaforest Components 1+, 2+, and 3+ is rooted in the H.Balling method. However, we have modified and enriched it with essential micronutrients that are crucial for the healthy functioning of your marine aquarium. As a result, we have developed three liquids that are to be distributed regularly in equal amounts to meet the needs of corals, addressing not only magnesium and calcium but also all the elements that are challenging to measure in a home environment and require careful, systematic release.

By maintaining the correct levels of magnesium and calcium, you will ensure the proper balance of micronutrients in your reef aquarium, which should ideally be around Ca 400-440 mg/l and Mg 1280-1350 mg/l. For a typical tank with hard corals, an average dose of approximately 50 ml per day per 100 liters of water is recommended.

• Component 1+ includes: Ca, Mg, Sr, Ba, Co, Mn, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ni, Cr. (50 ml increases calcium and magnesium by 9 mg and 0.6 mg per 100 liters).
• Component 2+ contains NaHCO3, F, I (50 ml raises KH by about 1.3 dKH – Alk 0.46 meg/l per 100 liters).
• Component 3+ is packed with mineral salts and K, B.
