Aquaforest Fluorum Lab is a supplement that provides a highly concentrated source of fluoride. Fluorine is one of the essential micronutrients found in seawater. In a closed aquarium system, skimmers and filtration systems often remove fluorine deposits from the water, making supplementation necessary.

Fluorine plays a crucial role in the calcification process and supports skeletal tissue. Both sodium fluoride and calcium fluoride serve as building materials for coral skeletons, which is why fluoride supplementation is important in a reef aquarium. Properly balanced fluoride supplementation can effectively enhance the blue and white coloration of SPS corals, while also highlighting the fluorescence of many other corals. Additionally, this product contains traces of potassium and iodine.

Dosage:

• 10 ml of Fluorum in 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water raises the fluorine level by 0.1 mg/l (ppm).
• Each aquarium is unique, and the dosage should be tailored to the coral type and individual needs.
• The recommended fluorine level in a marine aquarium is between 1.0 and 1.5 mg/l (ppm).
• Daily recommended dosage: 0.3 ml per 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water.
