Aquaforest MG Plus 250 ml for raising magnesium levels in marine aquariums

Mg Plus is designed to help manage magnesium shortages and sudden drops in levels. Magnesium is essential for the healthy and balanced growth of corals. Maintaining the right magnesium level in your aquarium water allows corals to absorb calcium more effectively.

A low magnesium level can lead to difficulties in maintaining proper calcium levels and can also lower pH. The recommended magnesium level for reef aquariums is between 1180-1460 mg/l (ppm).

Dosage

To raise the magnesium level by 7.5 mg/l (ppm) in 100 liters (27 US gallons) of water, you will need 10 ml of the Magnesium solution. It is important to establish the appropriate dosage based on water tests and the daily consumption of corals.

Before using Mg Plus, it is advisable to test the magnesium level in your aquarium water. We recommend that you do not increase magnesium levels by more than 50 ppm in a single day. Please make sure your magnesium level is within the recommended range before you attempt to raise or adjust your calcium and alkalinity levels.
