Aquaforest Mg Plus is a highly concentrated formula designed to help raise magnesium levels in marine aquariums. This product is ideal for addressing shortages and sudden drops in magnesium levels, which are essential for the healthy and balanced growth of corals. When the magnesium level in your tank water is appropriate, corals can absorb calcium more effectively. On the other hand, low magnesium levels can hinder the ability to maintain proper calcium levels and can also lower the pH.

The recommended magnesium level for reef aquariums is between 1180 – 1460 mg/l (ppm).

Dosage:

• 10 ml of the product increases the magnesium level by 10 mg/l (ppm) in 100 litres (27 US gal) of water.
• Dosage should be based on magnesium consumption.
• Keep in mind that each aquarium is unique, so the final dosage will depend on the specific coral cast and individual aquarium needs.

Both deficiency and excess of micronutrients can impact your aquarium inhabitants, so it is important to select and adjust the dosage based on regular Aquaforest Lab water tests.
