The AF Phosphate Test Pro is a handy tool for quickly measuring phosphate ions in your marine aquarium. Since phosphate can encourage the growth of unwanted algae, monitoring its levels is crucial for maintaining a healthy tank. Additionally, high phosphate concentrations can be detrimental to corals.

For optimal conditions, phosphate levels in a marine aquarium should range from 0.03 to 0.08 mg/l (ppm).
