Aquatic Nature Ferti-stick First AID 10 Tabs aquarium plants nutrition sticks
Ferti sticks First Aid: These are compressed complete food sticks designed to support your aquarium plants. They have similar characteristics to the Fertiplant ABF. In addition to carbon dioxide and nitrogen, aquarium plants rely on both micro and macro elements for their growth. Depending on whether you have fast or slow-growing plants and the quantity in your setup, a specific amount of essential elements is absorbed from the substrate. Laboratory tests have shown that when using Fertiplant ABF substrates, growth can slow down after 11 to 16 months due to a lack of elements like potassium, phosphorus, magnesium, and cobalt.
To address nutrient deficiencies and ensure your plants thrive, Aquatic Nature has developed the Ferti-Stick First Aid. These sticks combine macro elements and nitrogen-rich compounds using a special processing method, allowing for slow and effective fertilization that promotes healthy growth of your aquarium plants.
Dosage: The Aquatic Nature Ferti-sticks are packaged in sets of 10, in a special package that protects the product from any negative influences. To use, press a Ferti Stick into the substrate near the plant at a depth of 2.5 cm to 5 cm. Each Ferti Stick will effectively cover an area of approximately 40 cm² in a normally planted aquarium. For heavily planted setups or those with fast-growing plants like Ambulia, Ludwigia, Nymphaea, Bacopa, and Cabomba, it is advisable to double the amount to 1 stick per 20 cm².
For solitary plants such as certain Echinodorus species or Aponogetums and Nymphaea, place the Ferti Stick close to the plant. It is recommended to apply this treatment at least 1 to 2 times per year for optimal results.
