Potassium is an essential element in seawater, similar to Calcium, and is typically found at a concentration of about 390 mg/L.

K-Balance features a variety of potassium salts in high concentration. Our testing across several tanks has demonstrated noticeable benefits in both color and growth after just a few days of dosing:

• Polyp expansion occurs in a short time.
• It enhances growth and coloration of all corals, particularly SPS species such as Montipora, Stylopora, Seriatopora, Pocillopora, and Acropora.
• It is recommended for any tank system.

Low potassium levels can lead to the following issues:

• Montipora stops growing, and colors become dull to grey; good coloration without potassium is not achievable.
• Pocillopora and Stylopora under low potassium conditions appear as if they have been out of water, with polyps retracted and colors looking light and faded.
• Blue Acropora also exhibit washed-out colors.
• Seriatopora can experience complete tissue necrosis within just a few days.
• Turbinaria Reniformis ceases to grow.

Automatic dosing without any technical equipment! The elements and active components are included in a solid carrier substance, which allows them to dissolve in small quantities directly into the water. The “Automatic Elements” can be conveniently placed into an internal filter or directly in a sump area with proper flow.

The structure of the carrier substance ensures a consistent release of elements and active components for up to 4 months directly into the water. These automatic products contain the same elements and active components as their liquid counterparts.

Dosage: 1 piece per 50 L for 4 months.
