The Gen3 ClariSea features several new enhancements to streamline installation, simplify fleece loading, and ease maintenance without removing it from the sump or disassembling. The main body is now fully constructed and glued, making initial setup faster and more straightforward compared to previous generations.

For periodic cleaning, the guide rollers and splash guard plates can be removed without tools. The two splash plates now feature quick release, utilizing drop-in slots for easy removal, even when installed in a sump. Specially designed thumb screw fixings allow free rotation of the guide rollers as the fleece winds on, making fleece changes a breeze.

The fleece holder has been redesigned for simple drop-on installation, eliminating the need to release or tighten screws when replacing the roll. This is particularly useful in tight spaces. All ClariSea Gen 3 units now include a fleece removal tool to help eject the dirty fleece roll from the spool, allowing for easy disposal without cutting or unrolling.

Connection to your aquarium’s plumbing has also been enhanced with a specially molded inlet adapter elbow that fits 32mm metric or 1-inch Imperial plumbing as standard, or it can connect directly to 40mm metric pipework using a 40mm straight connector.
