Clear FX Pro works quickly to eliminate organic pollutants while retaining important trace elements, ensuring that your aquarium remains clean, clear, and healthy for months. To use this product, simply place the mesh filter bag in a high-flow area of your filtration system. It is compatible with both canister filters and standard sumps.

Granular Activated Carbon (GAC): Clear FX Pro features a coal-based granular activated carbon (GAC). This type of carbon is among the toughest available and functions effectively in water. The high surface area and durability of our unique carbon allow Clear FX Pro to last longer and resist deterioration over time. Unlike other carbon-based filtration media, the extremely low ash content of Clear FX Pro will not contribute to hole in the head or lateral line disease in your aquarium.

Hybrid Phosphate Removing Resin: Clear FX Pro introduces innovative technology for phosphate removal. Unlike other products, Clear FX Pro utilizes a hybrid resin that performs better than Granular Ferric Oxide (GFO) phosphate removers. The resin’s spherical beaded structure prevents clumping or clogging. This long-lasting, high-capacity resin absorbs phosphates in half the time of standard GFO and will not release phosphates back into the water once it reaches maximum capacity.

Organic Scavenger Resin: The scavenger resin in Clear FX Pro effectively attracts organics in your tank, helping to manage ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite levels. This resin has a macro-porous design that resists clogging, unlike many competing organic removers. It works in conjunction with our GAC to provide clarity, stability, and health to your aquarium water.
