Coral Power Amino is a powerful blend of essential amino acids designed specifically for marine aquariums. This product plays a crucial role in enzyme production, tissue growth, and skeleton formation. Corals need amino acids to create proteins for tissue development and to synthesize the organic matrix, which regulates and enhances the deposition of calcium carbonate in their skeletons, a process known as calcification (Allemand et al. 2004).

The organic matrix serves as a framework of proteins and other vital compounds that are key to bio-mineralization. To promote the healthy growth of SPS corals, it is important to follow a proper dosing plan as outlined below. You may adjust the dosing according to your tank’s specific conditions and the density of coral present. Corals can effectively utilize increased levels of amino acids. However, we do not advise using high doses if your aquarium has elevated phosphate and nitrate levels, as this could lead to algae outbreaks.

Please note that Coral Essentials – Coral Power Amino should be stored in a cool, dark place and preferably refrigerated after opening.

Dosage rate: We suggest starting with 1 drop per day for every 100 liters of tank water. If you see positive results, gradually increase to 2 drops per day over the course of a month, depending on your tank’s coral density and ensuring that nutrient levels remain very low. We do not recommend exceeding 3 drops per day in a heavily stocked system for each 100 liters of water.
