Coral Essentials Coral Power Iodine is a concentrated blend of Potassium Iodide at 10,000 ppm (1%) specifically designed for marine aquariums. This product is vital for the healthy growth of both soft and hard corals, as well as supporting the growth of macroalgae. Additionally, iodine enhances the blue coloration in corals.

Iodine is an essential element that plays a crucial role in cellular function and nutrient transfer within cells. Corals utilize iodine to synthesize pigments, enabling them to adapt to different light conditions while also providing protection from UV radiation.

Invertebrates with exoskeletons, such as shrimp and crabs, also depend on iodine for proper exoskeleton formation during their growth. Dosage Rate: We suggest starting with 1 drop per day for every 100 liters of tank water. Please do not exceed 2 drops per day for each 100 liters in a heavily stocked aquarium.

For advanced aquarists, 0.1 ml (equivalent to 2 drops) will increase iodine levels by 0.01 ppm (mg/L) for each 100 liters of tank water. If you are aware of the iodine depletion rate in your system, please adjust the dosing accordingly based on usage.
