Excital is a new solution for eliminating cyanobacteria without using antibiotics or copper-based compounds.
Cyanobacteria, commonly known as red slime algae, can appear when water temperatures rise, often alongside high organic levels or decaying bottom material. Excital effectively eliminates cyanobacteria and is safe for both fish and corals. For severe infestations, we recommend removing as much of the cyanobacteria by hand as possible before applying Excital. In cases of serious infestations, the treatment duration can be extended for a few days, and even a double dose may be necessary.
USAGE
| Course | Important: Please remove active carbon; all other equipment can remain switched on. Dosage: for 5 days, administer 10 ml per 40 litres per day. You will see visible results within 10 days. The initial days are essential for establishing enough bacteria to combat and replace the red algae, which requires some time. Results will start to show after 5-7 days, and in some cases, a second treatment may be necessary. |
