Easy Reefs Corals Freez-Dried Microalgae: For corals
Easy Reefs uses three types of microalgae: Phaeodactylum (33.3%), Nannochloropsis (33.3%), and Tetraselmis (33.3%). This combination creates a well-balanced nutritional profile for your corals.
When it comes to dosage, it depends on the number of organisms in your aquarium. As a general guideline, you should use about 100 mg of Easy Reefs for a 500-liter aquarium once a day. For smaller aquariums, a dosage of 50 mg (which is half a spoon of Easy Reefs) per day is recommended.
It is advisable to add the freeze-dried microalgae near a recirculation pump inside the aquarium. This ensures that Easy Reefs disperses evenly throughout the water.
There is no need to turn off the skimmer during feeding. Here is an example for a 500-liter aquarium:
- First, put 0.5 liters of water from the aquarium into a glass blender.
- Second, add 100 mg of Easy Reefs (1 level spoonful) and follow the resuspension instructions.
