Easyractor 4L kit for the semi-automated cultivation of rotifers intended for feeding fish and coral larvae

The Easyractor is a bi-cylindrical truncated cone-shaped reactor designed for the semi-automatic culture of rotifers. It works seamlessly with our Easyfeeder, dosing pumps, and a tailored mixture of various species of phytoplankton, depending on your specific needs.

By using the Easyractor 4L in combination with Easyroti as a rotifer feed, you can ensure that corals and fish larvae have continuous access to food without the need for separate phytoplankton cultures. This system simplifies the production of rotifers for aquarists, making it easy and intuitive to maintain successful zooplankton cultures for feeding corals and fish in a systematic, controlled, and safe manner.

The reactor has a productive capacity of 0.5 liters of daily harvest for each cylinder, which means you can harvest up to 600,000 rotifers every day under normal operating conditions. Interestingly, there are no major differences in rotifer concentrations achieved when using live phytoplankton compared to Easy Reefs phytoplankton.

What makes the Easyractor 4L unique?

The Easyractor 4L operates with Easyroti, a mixture of EasyReefs® microalgae (80% Nannochloropsis and 20% Tetraselmis) presented in a fluid gel format with a high concentration of microalgae at 5 x 10⁹ / ml. One of the best features of Easyroti is that it does not require refrigeration. This, along with its high microalgae concentration, makes it an excellent choice for use with the Easyractor 4L.

The packaging and dosing system prevent oxidation and photochemical reactions caused by light exposure. The automated dosing system of the Easyractor 4L allows for the production of high concentrations of rotifers, reaching up to 900 rotifers/ml under ideal conditions, without demanding constant oversight from the aquarist.

This automated mode maintains water quality by adding feed regularly in small amounts, which helps to minimize algae consumption and ensures that food is always available for the rotifers. Plus, the Easyractor 4L helps you avoid losing your crop if you cannot harvest for short periods, such as during work trips, weekends, or brief vacations.

• D) One Super Silent Air PUMP ultra-silent air compressor with a power supply included (220-240V AC 1.0W; see instructions inside the box).
• E) One Easyfeeder Master dosing pump with power supply included (110-230 V AC output 12 V DC 1000 mA; see instructions inside the box).
• F) One Easyfeeder Slave dosing pump with DC connector included (see instructions inside the box).
• G) Pre-installation of feed dosing circuits.
• H) Pre-installation of air circuit provided with safety non-return valve.

• J) One filter mesh of 50 microns (24 x 24 cm Easymesh50).
