What is PURE Reef Balance?

PURE Reef Balance is a special blend of live marine-specific bacteria and enzymes. With its innovative technology and unique delivery method, it ensures that live bacteria quickly colonise filters, substrates, decorations, tank water, and other internal surfaces. PURE Reef Balance immediately begins to digest waste while converting ammonia and nitrite.

Regular use promotes biological diversity in closed saltwater systems, creating an optimal environment for fish, corals, and other invertebrates. Its easy dosing makes it perfect for beginners looking to keep their first fish, as well as for experienced reef enthusiasts and public aquariums.

How to use it

Use one PURE Reef Balance ball for every 25 litres of aquarium water, every two weeks. Simply place the balls directly into a filter section or sump. For the best results, position them in an area with water flow. PURE Reef Balance is also suitable for use in filter socks, net bags, fluidised reactors, or refugiums.

Once in the filter, each PURE ball releases beneficial bacteria into the water while gradually shrinking. A small white bead will remain once the ball is used up. You can leave this bead in the biological media to contribute to the biomass or remove it and replace it with a new ball.

Regular use of PURE Reef Balance will help maintain biological equilibrium and prevent the formation of bacterial monocultures in aging filters, live rock, and sand.

The average contents include 50 balls, which will adequately dose a 250-litre aquarium for ten weeks.
