Introducing Carb L, an extremely pure, vapor-activated, and pre-washed activated carbon designed to effectively eliminate yellowness, turbidity, and harmful toxins. This is essential for maintaining excellent water quality in any aquarium. Carb L is nearly phosphate-free and boasts an exceptionally high capacity, making it perfect for long-lasting use. However, it is recommended to replace it every 30 days.

This activated carbon is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquaria, ensuring that your water remains clean without any adverse side effects. Continuous treatment with Carb L, which is super pure pelletized activated carbon, is a vital aspect of the Zeo-Light-System. It is particularly beneficial for keeping sensitive SPS and LPS corals, as it can be applied permanently.

The activated carbon treatment guarantees crystal clear water by effectively removing phenols, proteins, coloring substances, odors, and toxins from corals and algae.

Dosage

• 1 L (500 g) per 1000 L (260 US gal lqd) of aquarium water when used in a flow-through filter unit (with a maximum flow rate of 200 L (52 US gal lqd)/h).
• 2 L (approximately 1000 g) per 1000 L (260 US gal lqd) of aquarium water when used in a filter bag.

Remember to replace the activated carbon after 4 weeks, following a bi-weekly routine that coincides with the zeolite change.

Preparation

To prepare new activated carbon, follow this simple procedure: One day prior to replacing the carbon, pour hot tap water over it and then let it soak for 24 hours.
