Introducing Fauna Marin Carb L, an extremely pure, vapour-activated, and pre-washed activated carbon designed for efficient removal of yellowness, turbidity, and harmful toxins. This product is essential for maintaining outstanding water quality in any aquarium.

Carb L is nearly phosphate-free and boasts an impressive absorption capacity. Although it is crafted for permanent and long-term use, it is important to replace it every 30 days. It is suitable for both freshwater and marine aquaria, ensuring clean water without any negative side effects.

Using Carb L, which is super pure and pelletized, is fundamental in the Zeo-Light-System. It is particularly vital for the care of sensitive SPS and LPS corals, making its continuous application crucial. The activated carbon treatment effectively eliminates phenols, proteins, coloring substances, odors, as well as coral and algae toxins, resulting in crystal clear water.

Dosage

• 1 L (500 g) per 1000 L (260 US gallons) of aquarium water when used in a flow-through filter unit (flow rate max. 200 L (52 US gallons) /h).
• 2 L (approximately 1000 g) per 1000 L (260 US gallons) of aquarium water when used in a filter bag.

Replace the activated carbon every 4 weeks, following a bi-weekly routine that alternates with the zeolite change.

Preparation

To prepare new activated carbon, follow this simple procedure: one day before the carbon replacement, pour hot tap water over the carbon and then allow it to soak for 24 hours.
