Fauna Marin Carbonate MIX 1 kg (KH balling light)
Old name = SODIUM BICARBONATE
Sodium bicarbonate of high purity is designed to maintain the carbonate content (KH) in your marine aquarium using the Balling Light or Classic method. Corals and calcareous algae absorb calcium, magnesium, carbonates, and other minerals during their growth. To ensure the healthy and stable growth of these organisms, it is essential to replenish the consumed elements. Various methods exist for this, with the Balling method being one of the most widely recognized.
Fauna Marin offers a comprehensive range of Balling salts to keep the calcium, magnesium, and carbonate levels in your aquarium stable and perfectly balanced. For optimal results, Fauna Marin utilizes the purest chemicals in its Balling salts.
What are the advantages of Balling compared to a lime reactor? Balling (Light) provides significantly more stable water values and also incurs lower start-up costs (with or without a dosing pump) than a calcium reactor setup. In Germany, the Balling method has largely replaced the use of lime reactors. An increasing number of aquarists are also utilizing Fauna Marin Balling salts in conjunction with a lime reactor to correct any chemical imbalances that may arise from using a lime reactor.
