With Fauna Marin’s ICP analyses, you receive precise dosage recommendations along with the exact measured values for your tank.

Our ICP analyses provide guidance on dosing both essential salts—such as calcium, magnesium, and carbonate hardness—and specialized trace elements critical for marine aquariums. Unlike bulk elements that are present in higher concentrations, trace elements like copper, chromium, manganese, selenium, iron, iodine, and zinc exist in much lower concentrations, typically under 1 mg/l, yet they play crucial roles in marine ecosystems.

Dosing Recommendation for Elementals Trace Se

Use 1 ml of Elementals Trace Se per 100 liters (26 US gallons) to increase the selenium concentration by approximately 0.5 µg/l. Adjust the dosage based on your tank’s requirements.

Recommended daily increase: For optimal safety, do not exceed a maximum daily increase of 1 µg/l selenium (2 ml of Elementals Trace Se per 100 liters or 26 US gallons).
