EasyWood is a wood-filled PLA-based filament that contains approximately 40% ground wood particles. This filament is designed for ease of use, making it very simple to print with. Thanks to its EasyFil PLA compound, EasyWood delivers a warp-free printing experience. It looks, feels, and smells like real wood, and you can achieve beautiful wood-like textures by lightly sanding the printed object with fine-grit sandpaper or by adjusting the printing temperature.

These ranges should work for most printers, but feel free to experiment outside these ranges if you think it may suit your printer better. There are many different types of printers, hot-ends, and printer offsets, making it quite challenging to provide a one-size-fits-all setting.

Filament length

Nozzle cleaning

When printing with filled or composite filaments, it is advisable to clean your nozzle immediately after printing. You can do this by feeding 15-20 cm of PLA filament through your nozzle. This will help ensure that any potential fillers are cleared from the nozzle. It is even more effective to use glow-in-the-dark PLA, as the hard phosphorous particles are more likely to remove any residual material from your nozzle.
