FormFutura rPET filament is composed entirely of recycled post-industrial PETG content sourced from the waste generated during the extrusion of our HDglass filaments. Due to its high recycled content, rPET filament is not derived from a virgin natural PETG compound but from a homogeneous compound made from a variety of colors collected from filament extrusion waste. The intensity of this homogeneous compound can vary, leading to lighter or darker 3D printing filament colors extruded from different compound runs. Typically, two to three homogeneous compound runs are produced each year. However, rPET White and Black will consistently maintain the same color since extrusion waste from black and white PETG filament is collected separately.
General printing guidelines*
Nozzle size: ≥ 0.15mm | Layer height: ≥ 0.1mm | Adhesive: EasyFix Nr. I |
Print temp: ± 230 – 240° C | Fan speed: 0 – 30% | Experience level: Beginner |
