FormFutura ReForm rPET Orange (250gr, 1.75mm) is ReefSafe
ReForm rPET is recognized as ReefSafe and is one of the most sustainable PETG-based filaments available today.
This filament is entirely produced from renewed materials, meaning no virgin fossil or natural resources are utilized in its creation. Now, one of the most commonly used polymers is offered in a more sustainable filament option. ReForm rPET is available in a wide array of vibrant colors, successfully combining strength, toughness, and printability.
You can find ReForm rPET profiles on the Ultimaker Marketplace, as it is an approved and validated partner material.

FormFutura rPET filament is composed entirely of recycled post-industrial PETG content sourced from waste streams generated during the extrusion of our HDglass filaments. Due to its high recycled content, rPET filament is not manufactured from a virgin natural PETG compound, but rather from a homogeneous compound derived from various colors of collected filament extrusion waste. The intensity of color in homogeneous compound runs may vary, resulting in lighter or darker 3D printing filament colors. Typically, two to three homogeneous compound runs are produced each year. However, rPET White and Black will consistently maintain the same color since extrusion waste from black and white PETG filament is collected separately.
General printing guidelines*
Nozzle size: ≥ 0.15mm | Layer height: ≥ 0.1mm | Adhesive: EasyFix Nr. I |
Print temp: ± 230 – 240° C | Fan speed: 0 – 30% | Experience level: Beginner |
Heat bed: ± 75 – 85° C | Enclosure: No / Recommended | Reef Safe: Yes |
*) The settings displayed above are intended as guidance to help you find your optimal print settings. These ranges should work for most printers, but feel free to experiment outside of these ranges if you believe it is suitable for your printer. There are many different types of printers, hot-ends, and printer offsets, making it challenging to provide a one-size-fits-all setting.
