Tip for an Accurate Measurement

To ensure you get the best results, it is essential that your sample is free of any debris. When placing the cuvette into the measurement cell, make sure it is dry on the outside and completely free of fingerprints, oil, or dirt. You can wipe it down with HI-731318 or a lint-free cloth before inserting it. Avoid shaking the cuvette, as this can create bubbles and lead to higher readings. To eliminate bubbles, you can gently swirl or tap the cuvette.

It is also important to not let the reacted sample sit for too long after adding the reagent, as this can affect accuracy. After taking your reading, be sure to discard the sample immediately to prevent the glass from becoming permanently stained.
