Hanna HI98303 Dist 3 EC Tester (0-2000 µS/cm)
The DiST® testers are popular choices for monitoring conductivity in various applications such as drinking water, water treatment, reverse osmosis, cooling towers, wastewater management, laboratories, agriculture, aquariums, hydroponics, and the printing industry. These testers come equipped with an amperometric graphite electrode that enhances the repeatability of measurements, as it does not oxidize over time. The amperometric measurement of EC is based on Ohm’s law: I = V/R, where R is influenced by the distance and surface area between two pins. Oxidation can alter both the distance and surface area, which directly impacts measurement accuracy. Thankfully, the non-oxidizing graphite pins in the DiST® testers ensure an optimal surface for achieving accurate and reliable results.
Automatic Calibration
If you need to calibrate the device, simply submerge the electrode tip in the calibration solution, and the meter will take care of the calibration automatically!
Exposed Temperature Sensor
These testers also feature exposed temperature sensors that provide faster response times.
