Protogen infusions (infusion animals) are a concentrate of dried infusories of various sizes. Simply place the Protogen infusories in your aquarium, and they will start to develop and multiply as soon as they are submerged in the aquarium water. There is no need to feed the Protogen infusories; just add a new quantity every 3 to 4 days. However, if you add too many infusories at once, a slimy layer may form on the surface of the water by the third day.

It is important to note that Protogen infusions cannot thrive if there are residues of chlorine or medicines in the water!

This product can be used in two ways: it can serve immediately as food, or you can choose to grow it.

To Feed

After the young fish have finished their meal, add 6 to 12 granules of Protogen infusories into your aquarium, depending on the number of young fish. You can double this amount on the next feeding day. Keep this routine until the fish can accept larger food.

To Grow

Mix approximately 1 gram of Protogen infusories with 1 liter of aquarium water in small, shallow plastic or glass bowls. It is essential to maintain a temperature between 18 and 25 °C and ensure good lighting. The culture will be ready for use within 24 hours.

• Feed the fish using a pipette near them.
• Do not use metal containers for Protogen infusions!
