KH + CA 1 is a liquid designed for quickly increasing carbonate hardness. Just adding 50ml of KH + CA 1 to 100 liters of water will raise the carbonate hardness by 2° KH. The ideal level is around 10° KH. This KH value indicates the pH buffering capacity of the water. If the KH value is too low, it can lead to a pH crash, which is something you want to avoid. The product comes in a 1000ml bottle.
